The PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board is a great looking Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard (iSUP) that many paddle boarders love, and this review takes a closer look why.
The PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board is a 10 foot 6 inch (10’6″) iSUP that is tough and durable, thanks to its ultra strong, military grade PVC drop stitch construction.
Like many other iSUPS on the market today, this durabilty means you can be a little rough with this paddle board in the knowledge that it wont rip or split. This is not to say we condone excessively abusing the board, but if you were to drop it on rocks, or hit the edges of lakes on it, you should be safe from damaging your paddle board.
It should be noted, however, that the PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board is ‘Single Layer’, meaning there is only one layer of PVC on the board (top and bottom). This does make the board a little less rigid and more susceptible to damage than other some other inflatable stand up paddle boards, but is still a very reliable (and lighter) construction.back to menu ↑
As well as being 10’6″ in length, the PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board is 31 inches (31″) wide and 6 inches (6″) thick. Being slightly thinner than some other iSUPS in this price bracket, as well as a fat 6″ thickness means you’ll get a better turning radius along with good stability in choppier conditions.
The PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board inflates to 15PSI, using the included pump, and has a maximum literage of 225L. Once inflated, this iSUP feels like a rigid board.
The included aluminum paddle breaks down into 3 pieces, which makes carting it around a lot easier. It weighs in at around 30 ounces. If you can afford to upgrade to the carbon fiber paddle, you’ll find it a lot more durable, flexible, and also weighs less. It also floats better, but in saying all this, the included paddle is perfectly fine for use.
The board weight when inflated is a respectable 23lb, and it’ll hold a weight of up to 300lb, although you’re probably safe to go a little beyond that if you know what you’re doing. This could mean two of you on the paddle board, or perhaps yourself and pet dog, although make sure their nails are clipped before attempting this, or you both may be swimming to shore!
There’s a spring loaded lock inside of the valve which helps keep the board inflated after pumping up (You simply push the valve downward to deflate).
As with most other pumps included in these sort of packages, you need to pump a few times before the psi guage starts to register the air in the paddle board.back to menu ↑

PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board conclusion
When in the market for an inflatable paddle board package that comes with everything required to get out on the water with minimal fuss, it would be hard to find a better deal than the PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board.
Although it does sacrifice a layer of PVC for a lighter paddle board experience, it’s still very durable and can take most knocks (within reason).
Compared to other iSUP packages at a similar price point, the PEAK Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board holds up with overall performance and packaging.
